The project included
a series of 10 meetings with the Steering Committee appointed by the
parish to assess the long-range space needs of the church and school
and prepare a master plan that effectively used the limited site area
for a large expansion of the building footprint.
Additionally, the
master plan was to assess the needs of the liturgical-focused community
and the school-focused community at the parish, and embrace both needs
in the master plan so that the entire parish would be more fully integrated.
The plan included
demographic analyses of the area, an investigation of existing MEP systems
in the buildings, and a systematic evaluation of multiple design concepts
as a part of the overall planning process.
