Design Associates, Inc. was formed in 1995 to continue and enhance services
to business and institutional clients, including service to for-profit
and not for profit institutions.
Our
firm specializes in architectural projects which have one or more of
the following conditions:

The Client is an Institution
· The Client decision-making is by a committee.
· Need to have thorough bidding documents to facilitate public
bidding of projects.
· Need to achieve a balance between design and meeting the Client's
budget.
· Desire of Client for creative design.
The
founder of the firm is both an architect and certified planner and has
a long tradition of master planning and strategic planning work as well
as award-winning architectural design. This work includes scores of
master plans for all types of commercial and mixed us projects ranging
in size from a small neighborhood shopping area to over 5,000 acre new
community layouts.
Clients we have
served in the past have expressed to us that our participatory process
has allowed them to learn more about their institution than they thought
possible as a result of interacting with our planners and designers.
Our intent is to provide a service that allows the client to fully understand
the broad range of possible design approaches his/her project can take
and through an open discussion of the alternative approaches, define
and refine the best approach for the project.
